This is a black 32-year-old female patient who had originally weighed 280 lbs. With discipline, diet, and exercise, she lost 120 lbs. She weighed 160 lbs on the day of surgery. She was left with excess skin and fat in her abdomen, hips, thighs, and back. She underwent an abdominoplasty or tummy tuck with liposuction of the abdomen, lower back, and bra-strap region. Dr. Katzen then strained the fat and washed it with antibiotics and injected the pure fat into her breasts for a bilateral autologous fat transfer of the breasts.
