A miracle worker - I look like an improved version of myself - If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr. Katzen is by far the best doctor I've ever encountered. In your initial consultation with Dr. Katzen, you will decide which silicone injections technique is best for your particular case. During your open surgery for silicone injection removal, an incision is made around the area containing the silicone and associated scar tissue. Usually, the incision for the open technique is placed at the top of the buttock for patients with silicone buttock injections. Once the previously injected silicone and scar tissue are excised, the skin and tissues are re-approximated. In many cases, diseased skin is also surgically removed.
