Silicone Removal Buttock #2*

This is a 50-year-old patient who previously had silicone injections into her buttock. The majority of her silicone was in the bottom 1/3 of her buttock. Due to the location of the silicone and the localized pain, her incision was made underneath the buttock. This approach is called an infra-gluteal incision for silicone removal. The infra-gluteal fold is where the buttock meets the back of the thigh.
