Today we have a male patient in his early 60's who had previously lost over 140 lbs! He's previously come to us for weight loss surgeries including a body lift and a thigh lift, and now he comes to us for cheek implants. As part of the massive weight loss the patient lost a lot of volume in his face so Dr. Katzen is going to put permanent facial implants in the malar region. The patient is very happy with his results!

Today's patient wants to remove some of the fat in her face and chin. In order to give this patient the results she wants, Dr. Katzen is going to remove fat from the patient's buccal sulcus or upper cheeks. Now it's important to note that you never want to remove too much buccal fat as it can't be replaced without artificial fillers or a fat transfer!
