"Results are as good as some of the most high priced specialists in the city - Although this review is for Botox i need to give you a rundown on why i choose Dr Katzen I have always had an incredible experience with Dr Katzen. I have had a tummy tuck, breast lift, BBL plus both an arm lift and a thigh lift since 2017- and I’m not a massive weight loss patient. He's just that good. He Probably has more experience than anyone else in Los Angeles with these lift procedures This past summer wearing shorts for the first time in 20 years was truly life changing. Freeing. And tank tops without a “light sweater” on top to hide my arms when it’s 100 degrees outside- priceless. I wish i would have seen him sooner- like in my 20s- alas he wasn’t around yet :) . . So kind and patient and talented. Why i never turned to him for Botox and filler is a mystery. In November i got Botox from the very knowledgeable Talia in his office who is good at everything including post surgical care . Her results are as good as some of the most high priced specialists in the city. I’m also ready for my 2nd Mobius 8 session- great results. . He numbs us twice which really is necessary. "I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Katzen! I had two surgeries performed by him. First, removal of raw silicone from my breasts. And secondly, breast reconstruction using Ideal Breast Implants. I can’t be happier! He is very knowledgeable with lots of experience and very professional in every way. He is the only one in the country who does raw silicone removal. It made me very comfortable using his services because he has a lot of pictures & videos of his surgeries and also, informational videos. So, you can see that he is a true expert in his area! "Had my body reconstructed after bariatric surgery - amazing work - Feb 2020, I had bariatric surgery. Within the first year, I was able to achieve my goal weight and maintained it. I felt healthy and energetic but my loose skin was an issue and a constant reminder of my years being obese. I am in my early 40s but the excess skin on my body says otherwise. "Dr. Katzen is a well known plastic surgeon in the bariatric community. He specializes in 360 lower body lifts, I knew this was what I wanted so I reached out. "Body Lift and Thigh Lift Done, Next is Breast Aug and Arm Lift - In 2020, I had RNY and successfully lost over 100 pounds. "Beautiful job with my breasts after implant taken out & replaced - I had breast implants put in over a decade ago. Back then, I had my bariatric surgeon perform my breast augmentation but I regretted it right away. I should have known better and should have gone to a plastic surgeon, but I figured I was so happy with my bariatric surgeon and he offered breast augmentation, I thought why not. "Entire Overhaul Makeover on my Body - Oh, how my life has changed so much in the last two years. First, I had bariatric surgery and lost a very significant amount of weight, over 150 pounds. "Beautiful Breast Augmentation with a Lift - I came to Dr. J. Timothy Katzen for a silicone breast augmentation with a lift. I went from a size B to a DD. When I had my initial consultation, Dr. Katzen asked how I envisioned my breasts to look, so I showed him a picture of a model where the shape was perfect. My breasts still hurt so I’m hoping that goes away. One nipple is higher than the other and I don’t think it’s a matter of one breast dropping. It almost looks like my nipple was put back on upside down. So I dont think my nipples were done correctly. I’ll post an update if they correct themselves. My lower body lift is my favorite thing, however I did get two wounds and I’m seeing a wound care doctor in my city. Getting wounds such and I still have stitches in that have to be cut as they push their way out of my body. I’m not sure why my photos won’t upload."
"No doubt I made the right choice for my VASER Lipo and Breast Lift - I'm currently on day 5 of post-op.I recently had Vaser Lipo on my arms, arm pits, full flanks and full legs as well as a Breast Lift (no implant) done by Dr. Katzen. This was 6 hour procedure and I went home same day with three drains, a catheter, and a pain pump in my compression garment. I'm pretty religious about my health - active weightlifter and eat to fuel my body on most days. I absolutely love my shape, and have been at my ideal weight multiple times, but it's nearly impossible to maintain without a constant calorie deficit and intense cardio. I've also tried CoolSculpting, but the small pockets of fat I had were too small to achieve results.My experience with Dr. Katzen as truly been stellar - one of the best doctors I've ever had in any specialty! He is a true professional and his staff are approachable, resourceful problem-solvers. You feel they are on your team and want to help, no request too big or small.I met with multiple doctors in LA, and Dr. Katzen stood out for many reasons, in particular his amazing results on arms and abs with VASER and that he could do a donut breast lift, which leaves no scar! He also keenly listened to what I wanted and set expectations well. He's bedside manner is lovely and I always look forward to seeing him.His pre-opp medical clearance was definitely the most compressive (asked for X-rays, EKG, Mammogram), which took a bit of time for me to get organized, but I appreciated his "no stone unturned" approach. Even the radiologist who reviewed my mammogram results said, "Wow, he must be a good surgeon."I was pretty nervous and stressed leading up to surgery and tried to prepare as much as possible. I highly recommend having someone to help with the first week, because you will essentially be bed ridden. I highly recommend getting a zero-gravity pillow for your bed that elevates your head and legs as well as puppy pads. Even though I was as prepared as a could be, the lipo pain is the worst pain I've ever had. The fact that you have to be bedridden for a week (or possibly more) is humbling and frustrating. It gets better each day, but don't try to be a hero and not take your painkillers. Again, TAKE YOUR PAIN MEDS. They recommended I start when I got in the car on the way home. Even on day 5, I can stand up but only with assistance and feel very lightheaded all the time. It's an intense surgery and will be intense for the person/people caring for you.The worst part is the soreness and tenderness. I can only compare it to when someone takes your blood pressure right before the release the machine - that feeling of pressure all over your body plus a bad sunburn.If I could go back now, I would have skipped my abs/flanks since they were the least of problem areas. It the most intense part and really causes the immobility. I've also gotten multiple stings/stocks in certain places when I need to move or get up and down. Also, drink and eat as much you can as soon as possible.I'll post some before and after pics soon. Right now it's just me, my peabag, and these drains against time."

After 7 years of working a strict food plan, I finally started working out and found a love of it that I just could NEVER get before. I knew that my choice to make this a new lifestyle was sealed. His compassion and bedside manner is second to none. I have given his name and number to many people I know since then. "I have been “the fat girl” my entire life. I knew from the time I was 6 years old that I had an eating disorder that I allowed to control my life and get me binging on food uncontrollably. My life has been unmanageable and my sanity level as been nonexistent. I would eat food out of the trash if no one was looking. I have gained and lost over 1000 pounds on diets that just didn’t work. "My experience with Dr. Katzen has been an extremely positive one. He performed breast reconstruction surgery on me because of prior breast cancer surgery, I had a ruptured implant and pain on the other side (from another doctor). Dr.Katzen replaced both implants so evenly they are 100% better and look prefect. You need that for your self confidence. I can't thank him enough for making me whole again.
