Today's patient had previously lost over 150 lbs! Unfortunately with that weight loss, the patient has been left with a lot of loose hanging skin on her arms, neck, face and around her breasts. Today's patient is in her mid 30's and about 10 years ago got silicone injections in her buttock! Today's patient had previously gotten illegal silicone injections in the buttock. It didn't take long before the patient began feeling a lot of localized pain in her buttock and lower back, and a silicone mass grew in her buttock as well. Unfortunately liposuction alone will not remove all of the silicone that's spread throughout her buttock and muscle, so Dr. Katzen is going to perform a posterior body lift procedure to surgically remove the product.
