Today's patient had previously lost over 150 lbs! Unfortunately with that weight loss, the patient has been left with a lot of loose hanging skin on her arms, neck, face and around her breasts. Today's patient comes to us from Maryland, and about 10 years ago she had silicone injections in her buttock which have unfortunately spread and developed painful scar tissue. Since the product has not migrated into the patient's muscle, Dr. Katzen is able to remove that illegal silicone and scar tissue with the suction technique. Today's patient had previously gotten illegal silicone injections in the buttock. It didn't take long before the patient began feeling a lot of localized pain in her buttock and lower back, and a silicone mass grew in her buttock as well.
